So I have cunningly mustered the talents of a "boutique design firm" to gather all my misguided leanings on the internet into 2 distinct and truly awesome presences.
The first and foremost will be Porl Gordon and his aptly named "Dirty Fine Art". This will contain blogs, vlogs, galleries, archives of music and art, events, any damn thing my creative mind decides it needs to place on view for prosperity.
The second will be a sleek and clever portfolio of my professional (ahem) video and audio work so that I can further my opportunities as a Multimedia Specialist. YAY!
I saw some screen shots of what the team did with my random bits of art and hardly any content and it is at once daunting and exciting. I expect a couple of rounds of edits and not too long before we actually get it all up and running, Great news for 2011. I really NEED to push myself artistically this year and get out there.
I have big plans for a gallery exhibition later this year and am planning an altogether different online venture to garner interest for the exhibition which should be pretty exiting.
PLUS, expensive entertainment lawyers (reads: Scott and I and a cupcake) have been thrashing out a new contract for Katmosphere and already there are good sounds coming out of that arena. Hopes to gig and start posting more tunes and performances are already in the works.
It's crazy really, we did laugh. After 4 years of getting together and spending more time arguing with each others Macs and attempting to get them to talk to each other nicely, we hit on the perfect set up. ONE MAC!!! We don't really need 2 computers to do our stuff and now we do not have to worry about which version we have and what plug in we need and who is externally time clocked and blah blah blah.
Last night was a seamless experience in creative juice pouring and we actually got something done for once! twas awesome.
Wheels are turning indeed!!!!
